Functional Integration

"What I’m after isn’t flexible bodies, but flexible brains. What I’m after is to restore each person to their human dignity."

(Moshé Feldenkrais)

Individual lessons offer the possibility to focus on very personal situations. Many times, the learning processes are taking place on non-verbal levels and are initiated very precisely through touch.

The practitioner, for example, takes over certain moves for the student instead of the student being active. This changes the relation to gravity for the student and the student's effort decreases. Information is being exchanged directly between the nervous systems of the practitioner and the student. Learning ensues on many more levels than just through verbal instruction.

Individual settings allow musicians to bring their instruments and work on specific problems.
